Exalon Care Homes provide a highly skilled, professional and committed workforce. We maintain a high staff to Service User ratio at all times. Each home employs a Home Manager, Shift Leaders, Support Workers and Waking Night Support Workers.

The Waking Night Support Workers are to ensure the Service Users needs can be met 24 hours a day by skilled and experienced personnel.

It is our policy that the work force are equipped with the skills, knowledge and experience through continuous assessment of their training needs in line with CSCI recommendations and the changing needs of the Service User group. All staff achieve the Common Inductions Standards within the first 2 weeks of employment. They will then be expected to gain an NVQ 2 in Care within the first year of employment.

All Staff must undergo Criminal Records Bureau vetting and provide 3 references from previous employers or tutors.
