Exalon Care Homes Limited Staff is proud of it’s highly skilled, professional and committed workforce. We maintain a high staff to service user ratio at all times. Each home employs a Home Manager, Shift Leaders, Support Workers and Waking Night Support Workers, with a total team at each home of about two dozen depending on occupancy and the mix of part-time and full-time workers. At present, over 95% of them hold at least a Learning Disability Qualification or NVQ Level 2 or 3.

We provide 24 hour support to ensure that service users’ needs are met by skilled and experienced personnel. Hours worked are therefore varied and day or night shifts, full or part-time working are all possible within our rota patterns.

It is our policy that our workforce is equipped with the skills, knowledge and experience necessary to provide a high quality service to meet the changing needs of the service user group. This is done through continuous assessment of staff training needs in line with CQC recommendations and extensive training. All staff must achieve the Common Inductions Standards within the 12 weeks of employment. They will then be expected to gain an LDQ/NVQ 2 in Care within the first year of employment, which carries a pay enhancement.

All Staff must undergo - Criminal Records Bureau vetting and provide us with 2 references from previous employers or tutors. If you would like to join our dynamic team, please -
